Learn At Your Own Pace

Take your time and digest the information presented in this course. There is a lot packed into 4 modules, so take good notes, review our handouts, and be prepared to view each module more than once. 

Individual Support

Get personalized feedback from your Advantage IO counselor on your university list, resume, and essays. Additionally, you can spend your time preparing for admissions interviews and reviewing the filled out applications.

What Are Boost Sessions?

Each Boost Session is one hour of support that you'll get from an experienced Advantage IO counselor. You'll be able to use these sessions to work on the tasks of your choice related to your applications to the US and/or Canada. For instance, you can get expert help with:
  • Finalizing your university list
  • Editing your resume
  • Brainstorming ideas for your essays
  • Editing your essays
  • Preparing for an admissions interview

*Please be advised that Mary Ellen Simoni, who presents the digital part of the course, is no longer taking hourly clients. However, be assured that you'll support of other wonderful members of our team.

FAQ

Can I use the Boost Sessions from the UK course to discuss my applications to the universities in Europe?

Yes. Even if you're not applying to the university in the UK, you are welcomed to use your individualized sessions with the Advantage IO counselor to discuss your applications to Europe, as all sessions are part of the UK & Europe Bundle. 

I'm applying to universities in 2025 for the enrollment in 2026. Can I purchase this package?

The North America Bundle Boost Sessions are only valid for the applicants who are applying to universities in 2024 for the enrollment in 2025 academic year. If you're interested in getting individualized package for the 2025/2025 cycle, please contact us at info@ivyoptions.com.

Will I be able to choose the counselor I work with?

You will have your counselor assigned automatically for your for each of your Boost Sessions. Please note that you may work with different counselors for some of your sessions, as the counselors are assigns to students based on their availability.

When is the best time to start watching the digital course? 

If you're submitting the applications in 2024, start watching the course as soon as possible to make sure you have most of your documnets ready for the Advantage IO counselors to review during your Boost Sessions. 

I'm applying to Foundation programs in the UK, is the course right for you?

Yes, you'll benefit from the course, as some foundation programs require students to apply through the standard UCAS application process. Some foundation programs that don't use UCAS may also require you to submit a personal statement, a key topic covered in detail in this course.
